love without hope
Love Without Hope is a repository for photography and other creative pursuits, as endeavored by Tyler Campbell Wriston, an advertising Creative Director. It is an outlet served reverently in the pursuit of honoring artistic expression wholly and unashamedly.
Started as a singular representation of one creative portfolio, LWH’s hope is to inspire other working creatives to share their own artworks and side projects and begin a dialog that leads to a richer, more fearless community.

As defined by Art Critic, Theorist and Philosopher Walter Benjamin in an early text, to love without hope is to love truly without expectation of reciprocation or change. To truly understand one’s craft or artistic goal without need for reward in pursuing it.

I am an award-winning creative/art director working in advertising with a history of collective artistic oursuits, including the Brooklyn Art Collective (BKAC), which operated in the borough from 2003-2011. Some of the wheatpaste posters used to promote the group exhibitions–hosted in non-traditional spaces–can still be seen on street art tours throughout the city.

Self expression is as valuable to the process of growth as is the act of exploration. Take a minute to breeze through the collections, reach out and let me know your thoughts, if you’d like to collaborate or buy a print for your home and office to support the pursuit of artistic excellence outside of the public eye.
